Every year, executives from around the world gather at the HRcoreLAB summit with a shared goal: to discuss the present state of the people function and explore ways to enhance it for ongoing contributions to future business success.
The summit showcases top speakers from prominent organisations, offering insights and expertise. Through case study presentations, live Q&A, and interactive discussion sessions, participants have the opportunity to build a comprehensive understanding of the most effective HR strategies employed globally.

14th March, 10:30-11:30am CET - How to become a Dynamic Skills-based Organisation
As we navigate the global talent shortage, it's become clear that organisations need to think differently about talent. By prioritising a ‘skills-based’ approach, organisations are hoping to reap huge benefits - from increasing the size of the talent pool, better retaining high performers and improving DEI outcomes and through to better skills utilisation and productivity.
This is a significant change for organisations and particularly for Talent Acquisition teams, and practice has some way to go to keep up with the rhetoric.
In this interactive workshop, together we will explored:
- What’s all the hype about? Understanding what skills-based approaches mean and why organisations are exploring it.
- How to operationalise skills-based within talent acquisition.
- Examples of skills-based hiring approaches in practice.
Workshop host:
Kirstin Schulz, Head of Consulting – Talent Acquisition and Advisory, EMEA
